VFX PIPELINE

This shows the process of how vfx studios work when creating effects for videos, with a description of what each step is next to it. It is separated into 3 sections, Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production
ANIMATION PIPELINE (15 Steps):
Story - Children books, Comic books, Scripts, Storyboard
Editorial - Make Storyboard into blueprint
Art - Develop things visually, gets approved by director
Modelling - Build all characters, create and sculpt from 2D designs
Rigging - Puppet makers, apply joints, creates muscles and fat
Surfacing - Add colours and textures, shiny, bumpy, how light effects
Rough Layout - Recreate storyboard in 3D
Final Layout - Master layout with HD models
Animation - CG puppet, they're the actors, bring personality to models.
Crowds - In charge of extras, animate extras
Character FX - Responsible for everything moving on the character that isn't part of it
FX - Add little details, footprints, particles
Technical Directors - Fix breakages in tech
Matte Painting - Sky's, Clouds, Mountains, Landscape modelling. The last puzzle piece
Lighting - Brings more emotion
Image Finalizing - Fix errors and Undesired things
Music - Composers writes and creates music
